In nearly 50 years of continuous operation and growth, King has never once had a significant accident or injury. Ever.

How did we build a record like that? It wasn't on luck. And it wasn't on simple adherence to regulations, either. It was by using safety regulations as a starting point — and then going beyond them to ensure the highest level of safety standards.

That's why we're a member of the Allied Construction Industries/OSHA Partnership, a progressive initiative aimed at reducing hazards and injuries by 15% below the national average. As an ACI/OSHA partner, we provide increased training and enhanced safety programs, including:

• 30 hours of safety training for all supervisors
• 10 hours of safety training for all non-supervisory workers
• 2 additional safety classes per year for all employees
• 2-hour safety orientation for new hires
• 6-foot fall protection
• comprehensive written safety and health program

To make these programs even more effective, we back them up with a full-time safety director, who ensures that workers, work sites, and equipment all operate in the safest manner possible.
